Health Care Without Walls staff dedicate themselves to providing meaningful care to all of our clients. Together with our volunteer clinicians, we help these vulnerable women and their families so that they can receive the attention and care they need to access mainstream medical care in order to achieve a level of stability and wellbeing that allows for the opportunity to reconnect with family and the community.
Our nurses and nurse practitioners work alongside the volunteer clinicians to provide a level of care and connectivity that is not available anywhere else for homeless women and their families. The degree of consistent and compassionate care they receive breaks down barriers, builds trusting relationships, encourages our clients to seek care and follow up treatments to address many health issues, large and small. These nurses and nurse practitioners are among the most compassionate and generous people you will ever meet.
Our staff also includes Community Health Workers which facilitate the health care process for some of our most vulnerable population, such as women who are homeless and pregnant or homeless and elderly. The Community Health Workers assist with everything from finding the appropriate care providers, making appointments, filling out forms, transportation, meals, and more, as circumstances dictate.
Finally, our administrative staff, located at our offices in Wellesley, are there to support all of our programs, administrative and fundraising needs.
